Application for New Windows
(and Sliders/French Doors installed along with windows)
Use this form to request Architectural Review
Committee approval of new or replacement windows (and any sliding glass
doors (sliders)/French doors installed at the same time).
NOTE: Please refer to Chapters 6, 7 and 8 of
the Resident Handbook for complete
information about architectural approval requirements, architectural and
landscaping guidelines and standards, and the approval process.
Forms may be filled in
online, but must be printed, mailed and logged by Total Property Management
before they can be reviewed by the Architectural Review Committee.
Please include a manufacturer's brochure indicating
window/slider/French door style and color. If a leaded/stained glass window,
include a drawing showing the design and colors to be used. You must also
include a diagram showing the locations of the windows/sliders/French doors
being replaced. Click here to view and
print a floor plan for your home then indicate which windows are being
replaced by which windows styles listed below. When this form is completed,
mail it and the required attachments to:

NOTE:
Architectural guidelines may require that frames of windows not being
replaced be painted to match the new windows depending on window
location. Consult the "Windows and Screens" section of the
"Architectural and Landscaping Guidelines and Standards" chapter in the
Canyon Creek Resident Handbook.

NOTE: If the windows not being replaced can
be seen from the Common Area, the frames must be painted to match the frames
of any replacement windows that are also visible from the Common Area. In
other words, the frames of all windows visible from the Common Area must all
be the same color. Consult the "Windows

within thirty (30) days of completing the Improvement.
Neighbor Advisement (Adjacent
Neighbors)
You must obtain the signatures of
adjacent neighbors (owners, not tenants) showing that they have been made
aware of the intended improvement. Neighbor comments and signatures indicate
that they have been notified and do not imply approval, which can only be
granted by the Architectural
Review Committee (ARC). However, ARC may contact neighbors to evaluate
their comments.

At the current time, this form cannot
be submitted electronically. Fill out the form online then use your
browser's Print button to print this form. Complete and return this form
along with any necessary plans to the
Community Manager (do not submit it to an Architectural Committee
member). Your submission will be logged and filed then distributed to the
Architectural Review Committee for
approval. When a decision has been rendered, the Community Manager will send
you a letter with the final decision within 30 days of original receipt of
your application.

Notice of Completion Form - COMPETE AND RETURN THIS PORTION WHEN THE
PROJECT IS COMPLETED!
- Homeowners must complete and submit to the Community Manager a
Notice of Completion within thirty (30) days of completing the
Improvement.
- The Community Manager will log receipt of the Notice of Completion
send a copy of it to the Architectural Review Committee (ARC)
chairperson.
- The ARC chairperson will assign an ARC member who will inspect the
Improvements within thirty (30) days after notification.
- The ARC member performing the inspection will indicate on the Notice
of Completion whether or not the Improvement was completed in
substantial accordance with the submitted application and plans.
- The ARC will deliver the signed Notice of Completion to the
Community Manager for filing and a copy will be mailed to the Homeowner.
- If the inspection shows substantial deviations from the approved
Improvements, the ARC shall notify the Community Manager who will notify
the Homeowner of the non-compliance and the steps needed to resolve the
non-compliance within sixty (60) days of completing the inspection.
Continued non-compliance may result in fines and/or legal action by the
Association.
